What your public profile shows
Each account has a profile at clubia.com/@username. Anyone with the link can open it, even without a Clubia account. It shows:
- Your name and profile photo, if your account has one.
- Your username and the city saved on your account.
- The month and year you joined Clubia.
- Your bio, if you write one.
- The clubs you saved with the heart icon.
What it never shows
Your email, phone number, Clubia Select status, Select photos and answers, requests, and plans never appear on your public profile.
Change your username, bio, or visibility
- 1Open Profile → Settings and find Public profile.
- 2Edit your username: 2–30 lowercase letters, numbers, dots, or underscores, starting and ending with a letter or number. Usernames already in use and reserved words are refused.
- 3Add an optional bio of up to 300 characters and select Save.
- 4Turn off Show my public profile to hide it. While it is hidden, only you and Clubia staff can open it.
Good to know
Changing your username changes your profile link. Links that use the old username stop working.
How usernames are assigned
Clubia creates a username from your name when you register; promoters start from their promoter page address. Profile links are not case-sensitive, so clubia.com/@Name and clubia.com/@name open the same profile.
Privacy and safety
- Clubia asks search engines not to index public profiles; people reach yours through its link.
- If either of you has blocked the other, neither can open the other's public profile.
- Approved promoters show a Promoter badge and a link to their promoter page, and signed-in members can message them from the profile.
- The official Clubia account shows the gold verified seal.
